Briarcliff Manor Public Library

Lothrop Associates designed and expanded the existing historic building, keeping the Library’s character of the former train station while incorporating modern, efficient building systems. A Space Study Analysis was initially developed to determine the space needs of the Library, followed by programming to identify the current and projected space requirements for each area. The result of our findings and planning with the Library ultimately led to a 10,000 square foot addition and renovation to the existing building, which is almost four times the original building size.
