We had a chance to catch up with Patrick and ask a few brief questions. A fun way for you to get to know our team members! So, how would you answer?
WHAT MADE YOU GET INTERESTED IN ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN?
Initially, I saw architecture and design as a way to bring together my interests in fine art and math/science. I read The Fountainhead the summer before I went to college. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Design studio opened up a whole new world to me and I never looked back.
WHAT IS SOMETHING FUN THAT WE MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU?
Well, I’m an avid swimmer. Weekday mornings, you’ll find me at the Hommocks Pool in Mamaroneck, training with my Masters swim team. It’s a great group of people and no stress! I also get to swim in a lot of pools in the area – part recreation, part design research? I also lived in Germany when I was younger. My father was opening a new office for a US-based company. I was old enough to remember some of the castles and cathedrals we visited. Maybe that’s where my interest in architecture really started…

Looking forward to skiing with my three kids, and getting more sleep!
